Old Lanwarnick

A welcome pack for all dogs

We don’t just allow dogs in our cottages, we welcome them with open arms. We’re very dog friendly. Every dog that stays with us gets a doggy welcome pack with a towel to dry off after a muddy walk, a blanket to lie on for the sofa and some tasty treats. So they’ll soon feel right at home. We even include a couple of spare bowls and poo bags, and we have crates, beds and leads of all sizes for you to borrow in case you forget something.

A safe place for your dog to play on holiday

We know dogs love to roam freely, but you want to be sure your dog won’t run off. That’s why we have two dedicated secure dog fields on the farm where your trusty companion can run wild and free without getting out. Plus, all our cottages have enclosed gardens or patios so your pup can join you outside for your sunny morning breakfasts and evening BBQs without fear of them escaping.

And because we believe it’s better to be safe than sorry, we even provide ID tags for your dog to wear with our name and number on too. So you have an extra layer of reassurance while you’re staying with us.

A heated dog wash for super clean paws

Old Lanwarnick is a paradise for dogs. With fields to get muddy in, woodlands to roll around in, and a stream to paddle in, there’s tons of space to explore and fun to be had. And you can relax too, knowing there’s no risk of muddy paw prints on the furniture thanks to our heated dog wash area. Available for everyone to use, it’s the perfect way to quickly and easily get your furry friends as clean as a whistle before they curl up on the sofa for a nice post-walk snooze.

Dog-friendly places to visit nearby

As well as exploring the countryside around your cottage, there are lots of dog-friendly activities you can do while on holiday in Cornwall. Why not take a short drive to Lansallos beach, a beautiful secluded cove just 15 minutes away? Or head to Seaton for long sandy stretches and a cafe on the beach that serves doggy ice cream! It’s not just beaches that welcome dogs either – both the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan love dogs, and we have a long list of excellent pubs and restaurants that will greet your pooch with lots of fuss and perhaps a few treats too.
